Trip to Rome 2018

The first learning trip to Rome took place from 25th February to 3rd March, 2018. The main topic was ancient Roman age. There was a surprise: the snow. These were the visits our students and teachers did.

Visit to the Colloseum 

 

Students from the three schools were visiting this outstanding monument of the ancient Rome


Roman Forum

 

All the students also went to visit the Roman Forum  as part of their learning activities. A very important place in the ancient Rome as it was the centre of Civil life.


 

Capitolini Museums

 

The students of 1st Bachillerato of IES Punta del Verde and IIS Sette Chiese went to visit Capitolini museums

 

 

Ostia Antica

The students of Montezemolo and 1st ESO visited Ostia Antica, the resort town of the ancient Romans.

 

Pantheon

The students of 1st Bachillerato of IES Punta del Verde visited the Pantheon, being one of the best preserved Roman buildings in the world

 

 

 

 

 

 

The students of 1st ESO also visited the Pantheon with their partners of ICS Montezemolo.

 

Traian Markets

 

There was a wonderful exhibition about Hadrian and Traian ages in the Roman forum and Traian markets. All the students could enjoy it.



 

Performance of Julius Caesar

The students of ICS Montezemolo performed some sketches from the play "Julius Caesar" by Shakespeare. In this picture they are dressing up for the show.

Cultural contest

In IIS Via delle Sette Chiese, students of 1st bachillerato  of IES Punta del Verde participated in a cultural contest. The winners were Alberto Barrera, Carmen Moreno and María Pitel. Here it is the video of the award ceremony.


 

 

Farewell dinner

IIS Via delle Sette Chiese organized a farewell dinner for students and teachers of both high secondary schools.
