The coordinators and students of IES Punta del Verde have been awarded with the National eTwinning Quality Level for the project. Congratulations!!
On 25th June 2019, the last day of school for the students, it was celebrated the end-of-project lunch with the attendance of all the students participating in the project in bothe years. Wate together and watched a video as a summary of the project.
On 18th June, the students of 1st ESO attended a treasure hunt activity in Italica in which the participants in the project last year (students now of 2nd ESO) performed ancient Roman roles.
On 5th June, both coordinators of the project went to the Erasmus+ day to speak about the project to other teachers.They also attended an interesting talk about impact and dissemination of the Erasmus+ projects and knew about other projects and experiences.
The students of 1st ESO participating in the project together with thei classmates, performed an adaptation of Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" at the XXVI Muestra de teatro escolar organised by Seville's City Council.
The students of bachillerato who participated in the project last year have graduated this week. Congratulations to them all!
In May we are celebrating Europe's Day with an exhibition of the students' works about different European countries. The participants in the project did them about Italy.
One of the coordinators of the project, Begoña Canivell, attended the meeting organised by the Spanish Agency (SEPIE) on 2nd April 2019 in Madrid for coordinators of KA219 projects which started in 2017.
On Thursday 14th March, the teachers participating in the fourth mobility of the project, Pilar Romero, Blanca Aguilera and Begoña Canivell, held a meeting with the students participating and their parents in order to inform them about several aspects of the trip.
The 1st ESO students participating in the project, performed the play "Much Ado About Nothing", adapted from Shakespeare's, as part of the activities prepared for the primary students from five schools of the zone that visited the school during the open doors days.
Today the students of 1st ESO have been rehearsing the play in CC Bellavista, the place where it will be performed next Friday 8th February.
On Thursday 23rd January 2019, the second meeting with parents of the students participating in the mobility took place in the IES Punta del Verde. It was followed by an Italian workshop given by one of the coordinators of the project, Begoña Canivell.
Our project was included in the yearly publication of our school as one more way to disseminate its results.
On 5th June, The Teachers' centre (CEP) of Alcalá de Guadaira organized a day to disseminate the Erasmus+ projects in the province of Seville. We were there to present our project to more than 100 teachers.
On Friday 1st June, the students of 1st ESO participants of this project together with other classmates performed the play "Miles gloriosus" or "the braggart soldier" in English in Alameda theatre. They behaved as real actors and actresses. It was a complete success. Congratulations!
At IES Punta del Verde, we are celebrating Europe's Day (68 years of the EU) with an exhibition about several European countries with works made by our students of all levels. Our students of 1st ESO have prepared Italy contents and here you can see a fotograph.
Today 4th April, our students of 1st ESO and special education have been rehearsing in the theatre were they will perform the play "Miles gloriosus" for their Italian partners on 11th April.
Looking for sceneries for our project. This is one of the best known Roman sites in Seville.
The students of 1st ESO visited an exhibition about the Roman emperor Hadrian in the archeological museum of Seville on 16th February.
On 13th February, after the meeting with students travelling to Rome and their parents, we organised a workshop about Italian language and culture for all of them. One of the coordinators, Begoña Canivell, was in charge of teaching it.
Some days before the trip to Rome there was a meeting with students and parents to organise the last details.
During the second term, the teachers of English have been teaching the lesson plan created for the project. There are several presentations made by the students to be uploaded to Twinspace.
There was a public call for the teachers who were interested in travelling with the students. It was published on 22nd December and solved on 15th January.
The teachers selected were Joaquín Pérez, bilingual teacher of History and tutor of 1st bachillerato, and María Barroso, teacher of English and tutor of 1st ESO B. They will travel with one of the coordinators of the project, Pilar Romero Candau.
The first meeting with the parents of the students selected was held on 19th December 2017. They were informed about the rules of the exchange, the partners that correspond to each of the students and the documents necessary for travelling.
After the interviews to the students interested in travelling and seeking the opinion of teachers and head teacher, The list of selected students was published on 15th December 2017.
In November we organized a contest to choose the logo which would be proposed by IES Punta del Verde for the competition among the three schools. This was the winner

On 28th and 29th September 2017, teachers from all over Spain met in Tenerife in order to learn and prepare for the implementation of our projects. The Vice-principal Nelly Oliveras and one of the coordinators of the project, Begoña Canivell, attended this meeting.
